I am learning HTML and CSS but I don't know how to use it to customize my space. Is there any difference between a normal website and my space or can I just use what I'm learning directly in space hey?

Each browser has a button "Inspect Element", it allows you to look at all the elements on the site from the point of view of the code. Then you can simply use CSS and customize the style for each element, based on the code from the inspector.
