hi my friends ^__^)/ I'm sorry I haven't been that active lately, real life has sucked the past month, but yknow they'll get better soon and ill probably be more active again <:D That's not to say I haven't been keeping busy though! I recently started drawing in my sketchbook a lot again and would like to share my results =]
Third pic is the Eshima Ohashi Bridge, aslso known as the Rollercoaster Bridge ! For the longest time I didn't know it was real, I've seen photos of it before but it lacked any other info, so I kind of just assumed it was an art piece or something, but no its very real!
Now as for music, I've been making 🤏 small but noticeable progress learning the guitar, I recently learned the beadcgf (circle of fourths) and it's made navigating the fretboard SOOOO much easier TOT
This is what my guitar looks like, at least on the front- I got it on facebook marketplace for my 21st birthday and it came with an aflac cattle mark on the back 😭😭 I would've disassembled it and painted the case entirely black but I already started stickerbombing it and dont wanna ruin the stickers...
One thing I'm upset about though is that no matter what I do, my equipment never seems to be grounded properly, if I'm barefoot and are touching the floor the strings will give me a mild electric shock (lol electric guitar electric shock) and it SUCKS, this makes it impossible to record it directly on my pc but in the meantime I can at least put my mic directly up to the amp, turn off ALL the air conditioners in my room, and record it cleanly that way
this is rachet af but man, when you're already broke you gotta take whatever methods you can T_T Other than that though, it's been smooth sailing! I can read tabs, play the a minor pentatonic scale, find a note anywhere on standard tuning, its awesome :D
About a week ago I got some extra money and was able to get my first pedal too, a distortion pedal! And it sounds AWESOME!!!!
Please ignore how torn up my thumb is ;_;
It's weird though, cause even pedals have their own electrical quirks- you need a 9VDC power supply to power it on, but it also HAS TO BE negative-centered. You could imagine how confused I was when I plugged my 9VDC positive-centered power supply into it and nothing worked, I feel like I learned more about electricity when setting this up than I did about guitars TOT but I got it working in the end and im glad I did =D
Now probably the moment you were waiting for, here's me playing the intro part of I'm Not Okay (I Promise) very sloppily (ˉ▽ˉ;)... THIS TOOK ME LIKE AN HOUR TO GET THIS RIGHT 😭😭😭 but thats okay because rome wasn't built in a day
I'm gonna try and make original songs of course but learning how to play my favs has also been very helpful, I notice a lot of my favorite chords require me to stretch my fingers very far so that's something I need to practice, finger dexterity n all that :P Hopefully I can get to the point I want to! Anyway that's p much all I have to say for now, thanks for reading and if u have any guitar playing tips please send them my way I'd very much appreciate it =)

yep you have read my mind, actually ii'l give you a little bit of quiet lore, i actually used to play the violin a few years ago, i took some classes and learned some scales and stuff but i stoped playing it! And i still have it AND IT IS HERE, LOOKING AT ME, DISSAPOINTED FOR NOT PICKING HER UP AGAIN! I still get my music kick from dicking around on fl studio but i wanted to get back and play some violin again (maybe combining fl and the violin huh? who knows?) and seeing you hyped about guitar gets me hyped too!
