As a black girl with a more alternative 90's - mid 00's inspired style, it is SO FREAKING HARD to find inspiration for styles I want on people who look like me. It matters deeply because it does low-key get discouraging looking for inspiration and all the people I see are no lighter than my palms..Β
I've found a fix to this issue which honestly feels like common sense I should've searched for at the start, but better late than never finding it.Β
I just put "afro" in front of any style I'm searching for, works wonders.
Ok bye guys xx

hey! so, i'm not black in any way, but i saw this post and went on pinterest and typed in "alterantive 90's hair styles for black people" and i just wanna ask, is that something ur looking for? because i know (or think...) that black people in the 80's-90's had a large impact on alternative hairstyles
Hi!!
I honestly haven't given much thought to the hairstyle aspect, but I really should ngll, I mostly search for outfits and makeup that would look flattering with my face because I know I would just accessorize my braids in my own way!
