a place thats been here before us

As of late I've been on a caffeine kick due to my hyperfixation and the lack of energy. I have one canned coffee in the morning, second or third period I have an energy drink. Normally at home I drink coffee and I go about with milk, sugar and a dash of coffee within my cup. But today I noticed we had orange juice and cold redbulls in the fridge in my garage. I drank half my orange juice, then poured some of the energy drink into the residual. I got half way through my cup before thinking or writing this post. I normally don't give the taste of range juice a passing thought, because who would? However I drank from my straw and thought of how weird it was. Not in taste just the idea of the two things together. Redbull was sweet by itself but it lacked the natural earthy content of what real sugar is like. The two made me think of the ever blending line of earthly creation and machine made pleasantries. Im still sipping on my drink now but as I do, and in the future, I think processed sugar and its connection to man made wonder will be on my mind.
