Well, I think that choosing Roblox is cheating because I’ve played it all of my life & it’s not really a game, so my pick is EarthBound. Itoi really cooked with EarthBound: it manages to be idiosyncratically enjoyable & its own type of game. I’ve never found anything that is as quirky or enjoyable as EarthBound in the RPG space. Shout out to Higurashi too—never played the VNs but the 2006 anime & Kai are great
