The life update nobody asked for!

Hi!! 

This is my first blog post (yippie!!) and I guess this is an introduction to me! also an update on the stuff I've talked about on the reclaiming the internet forum.

Well... I fear I'm on Instagram and instead of doomscrolling on TikTok, I've started to doomscroll on YouTube shorts. I also think it's not helping my eating habits thus far because it's all food related and when I eat I get really bloated and all that junk. so there's that but I've been listening to more music as of late, giving new things a try, and going out more! I also got into a couple of new shows and have started creating art more so I wouldn't say it's all bad. it just takes discipline and work :)

Besides that, my last theatre production went really well! Although super stressful the experience was so worth it, especially since I can get my apprenticeship credits hehe!! College is hard but I'm powering through! 

I also have a boyfriend now which is super exciting :D I've liked him since August and we had a rocky road to get to where we are but I'm glad we're together. I'm seeing him Wednesday because we weren't able to see each other on valentines day, unfortunately :( but it's okay! as long as I can see him that's what counts so I'm super excited about it.

College is a lot more lonely than I thought. this is my second semester and last semester I had a similar schedule with friends and stuff but now I have no classes with people I know (besides my collab in design class). which sucks but I mean, it's not all bad, I get to pay attention more. 

also, I broke my word I fear...! I told myself I wouldn't work on another show this semester, but I guess I should've been more broad because instead of doing stage management I'm working as a costume designer! which is nice but scary because I've never done that before. I asked a friend/the costume designer for the show I worked on in the winter to help me out. they're so lovely and I'm excited to be trained by them!! 

I also wanted to take production classes at the library, I was thinking maybe I could make music, like beats and stuff. maybe learn to DJ and all that good shit! I even started tagging and stuff, so I'm having fun there. 

Speaking of tagging and graffiti, next weekend I'm getting my first tattoo! its Keith Haring's radiant baby and I think I should put it on my bicep area? like above where my elbow is but on the side. Butt I shouldn't get too carried away, I still need to save, especially with how expensive things are getting it feels like going out is near impossible without spending all of my money. gotta save and be more cautious. buying less food would also help, not just with my pockets but my weight rippp.
