post that draft!

(i wrote and posted this super quickly so sorry if it doesn't look good t.t)

so many of us hold back from sharing our art, our creations, and the things we care about because we’re scared no one will notice. yet, in that hesitation, we forget that true value isn’t measured by recognition or applause. there’s a quiet power in creating, in putting a piece of yourself into the world, even when it feels like no one’s watching. here, in this space, we’re reminded that art isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection. and sometimes, the smallest ripples of our work can touch someone in ways we’ll never know.

posting your art, whether it’s a drawing, a poem, a playlist, a song you made or some random photography, is an act of bravery. it’s putting a piece of yourself out there and saying, “this is me.” and yeah, it can feel super vulnerable, especially when the algorithm ignores you or people scroll past without noticing. but that doesn't make your art any less valuable! (as a dj, the song with the less views is always the better one LOL)

sometimes, the fear of being invisible stops us from even trying. but the internet wasn’t made for perfection, as i said before: it was made for connection. and you never know who’s quietly admiring your work from afar. your art doesn’t have to be popular to be meaningful. post that sketch, share that playlist, upload that short story—because the right people will find it, even if it takes time.

being creative is about expression, not validation. post only if you have something to say, which i know you do. every post, every piece of art, is a step towards becoming more comfortable in your own voice. don’t let fear keep you from sharing what you love. and listen, i get it. i know it’s easy to compare yourself to others—especially when you see artists with thousands of followers or perfectly curated feeds. but every artist started somewhere. every creator had a moment when no one was watching. and even if your audience is small now, the fact that you’re creating at all is what matters. you’re learning, growing, and making something that didn’t exist before. that’s huge!

don't know how to start? think of it this way: the internet is your personal archive. you make something-you post it. i know you're ambitious, but start small. start easy. go easy on yourself. i know the silence can feel discouraging, but keep posting. post so much you get surrounded by your own art. and you know you're doing things right when you love the feeling of it. it’s easy to wonder if what you’re making matters when you don’t get much feedback. but don’t let that silence stop you. art is about expression, healing, and connection. even if your work touches just one person, that’s enough! and honestly, sometimes, that one person might just be you.

at the end of the day, the internet is full of noise, so your art just adds something real to it. keep creating, keep sharing, and trust that your voice matters. post your art, stay real, and don’t give up. if you need me, i'll be somewhere in the corner of the internet, posting something embarrassing (that i love) with zero regrets.

happy posting!

exactly!! theres so much wasted potential around, people should just post whatever they make. art is beautiful, no matter how its created. someone probably wont like it, but for 1 person that doesnt like it there are at least other 10 people that will like what you make
