asked my crush out on valentines!!!

so i met this girl a few weeks ago and shes EXACTLY my type (short, emo, cosplayer, UNBELIEVABLY pretty even better irl than with the insta filters) and we share so many similar interests and our personalities are super similar too. weve been texting a LOT and shes been dropping a lot of hints, including asking me if i want to "in the most non-chalant way" hang out with her on valentines. so ofc i said yes and at the advice of my homegirl (MASSIVE shout out to her) i got some flowers and chocolate for her. anyways i got there and she was like 20 min late so i was lowk getting worried but luckily she did show up. i told her she looked great and gave her the bag and she said thank you and said i looked great too and everything and we started walking around. we were so awkward at first LMAO but eventually we sat down on some comfy chairs at j crew to get out of the cold (we live in new england) and we got into a really good 2 HOUR convo ab anime and cosplaying (shes a HUGE cosplayer). in this convo she said that her and her friends were planning on doing a frieren cosplay soon and she would do frieren so she asked if i wanted to cosplay himmel!! id mentioned previously to her that i might cosplay as levi for a local con in june and she said i def should and shell go with me as hange if i do also. she also told me ab how nervous she was and that the first time she saw me irl a few days ago she was so shocked bc of how good-looking i was irl and i swear im not trying to humblebrag but im maybe slightly above average ANYONE would say shes WAY out of my league. on top of that im lowk a weeb nerd LMAO but at least the normal not socially awkward extroverted type. anyways then we went to starbucks together and sat down and talked for like another hour. atp the nerves pretty much wore off and she told me that she really enjoys being around me and she asked me if i wanted to hang out with her again this week. by then we were discussing our appreciation for art and she suggested maybe an art museum or something. after talking some more, our parents were here to pick us up and right before we left the starbucks i worked up the courage to tell her that i like her a lot and she smiled and told me that she liked me a lot too back!! js to make sure i asked her (like a fucking dense anime rom com mc LMAO) "soo this might be a dumb question but like are we dating now?" and she started laughing and said "yea! i guess so!" then after we left she texted me thank you for the flowers and chocolates and theyre super pretty and her mom thinks im a sweet boy LMAO. so yea now im LOCKED IN and exceedingly happy!!
