ok so im defo gonna forget some things but ya ill try list all the funny stuff that happened TwT
the main band was called the sunnies (they r on spotify but only a few songs n pretty wack recordings) and most of us were already pretty familiar w them (the drummer is literally in my geography class so thats pretty cool) so ya me and lizz were totally freaking out and screaming all the songs xD
the other band was called between the lines but i havent found them on any social media T-T apparently this was their first real show so they mostly played covers (including a rock version of taste by sabrina carpenter which absoluely ate) so ya hopefully they play again soon so i can figure out more about them
the whole thing was teenagers only bcos it was some attempt from the council to 'interest the youth' so we had 2 fill in sum questionnaires abt the future but idk if they will want 2 do that again cos we all wrote the funniest shit like ''how do we engage the youth'' ''public boxing match between [friends dad who works on council] and [drummers dad who teaches @ our school]'' and ''what shape would you like 2 see the youth council take'' ''a very tall building with a sphere either side of it'' lmao TwT
also the first thing that happened was toby and michael showing up 15 minutes late so i had 2 wait outside since i had toby's ticket on my phone T-T
also the person filling out the survey in this pic is my friend from school who literally only came 2 apply 4 the youth council and denied a dance with me which is rlly sad
@ the end this guy gave a lil speech saying he read our suggestions and wanted 2 know who toby was since some1 wrote on the suggestion sheet that we should build a statue of him so we all screamed and pointed @ toby which was funny
by the time the song me and lizz knew rlly well (relapse) came on we had already been jumping up and down 4 like 2 hours so i was on the brink of dying but live laugh love (at least i didnt wear heels like lizz did)
we got our pizza boxes signed n cos there was a bunch of pizza left over that we took
phoebe stole 9 pots of domino dips sauce and shoved them in her pocked + i stole the tabs from literally every1s cans xD
i also met my friend from football there but didnt get any pics with her T-T
the kid in the pic with the money i vaguely knew cos our parents our friends but he was totally vibing n we started headbanging together when lizz got tired (i think hes a little younger than us but i had no idea he was this chill) and he was totally geeking out @ the end and got all his possesions and every part of his skin signed which was hilarious
the most tragic part is that as i was walking back w toby and michael 2 bring one of the (signed) pizzas 2 my parents 2 make up 4 me being like an hour late back but then toby (wearing shudder shades that blocked his vision) tripped on a sidewalk and launched the pizza so that only one piece remained in the box TwT
anyways me legs still lowkey hurt from jumping but i think that was everything TwT ill keep yall updated if we go 2 any more cos the speech guy did announce they were trying 2 do more cheap gigs in the area which would b awesome sauce since im lowkey 2 broke 2 travel 2 the city 4 big bands
