i went to a convention today

today i went to the first convention i have been to since i was 12 (i am currently 19). i met someone online a few months ago that lives in my state and i got to meet them today as well. i also got a ride from my friends and they were pretty nice. i feel bad because i kind of didnt do a lot of stuff with them at the con but also i felt like i was kind of third wheeling because i asked for a ride last minute. oh well! i also made 3 new friends today 1 of which was a friend of the aforementioned online friend and the other 2 were friends of the person giving me a lift to the convention since the car ride was an hour away. technically i was already acquaintances with one of them but i think this was the longest proper interaction i have had with him. i also got to talk about sam and max to the other one. i kind of dont like that he wasnt into piracy (arg!) but oh well we cant all be based and cool like i am.
