Just a growing catalog of media figures I see and say “yup that’s pretty based”:

Senator Armstrong (Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) 

He’s a radical individualist; I hate taxes conceptually and I’m not a big fan of the government. Overall, pretty based.

Anarky (DC comics)

He’s an anarchist, and I like that his name uses a K cause I think ch shouldn’t make a K phonetic. Pretty based.

Jason Todd (DC comics)

Killing mass murderers is good. Pretty damn based.

Not the punisher though… I don’t like that guy.

Captain America (MCU iteration)

Kills Nazis, refuses to sign on to government oversight, beats the shit out of Tony Stark. Fuckin based.

Eren Yeager (intentionally placed at the bottom cause I know this one is controversial (Attack on Titan))

The absolute pinnacle of individualism - was literally willing to do anything to see his end. Gave Marley exactly what it wanted in the process - a devil from the Island of Paradis. Based. One million years based.
