i think you would like donnie darko!!! it's a thriller movie about this teenager who often sleepwalks and learns that the world is going to end in 28 days. it's been a while since i watched the movie so i don't know if i could explain much more of the movie without spoiling it, but it's really good and i think you'd enjoy it!

1. Daisies (1966) - surrealist Czechoslovakian film about two women that kind of just cause chaos to rebel against their oppressive communist society, there is no plot. they live in a very colorful wonderland, with foods, fires, butterflies, apple-trees, paper dolls, and ponds. they fight, destroy their apartment, and chow down on snacks. it's very funny and bizarre. the two women are nonconformists and like to fool old men.
2. Candy (1968) - Candy is a dated, exploitive, trashy sex comedy film with brilliant psychedelic visuals, capturing the hippie movement of the time. It's about a dimwitted girl who gets thrown into adventure, constantly moving into the next place with no room to breathe. But there is lots of SA, not explicit though.
3. Marie the Doll (1976) - A French arthouse film about a girl sexually repressed by her older husband. He fetishizes her and forces her to remain the image of a dainty and feminine Doll. Her home is a pastel dollhouse, and she wears Lolita Dresses every day. She believes her life is perfect but the movie transforms into an eerie, slow-paced horror film where she is trapped. Disturbing, and explicit SA.
4. Possession (1981) - This is a German psychological horror film about a woman slowly going insane. Her husband wants to find out what's happened to her, and it's slowly revealed how dysfunctional the couple is.
5. The Last Unicorn (1982) - This is an animated film about the last unicorn in the world. She is transformed into human and undergoes an existential crisis while trying to find the other lost unicorns of the world.
6. Now and Then (1995) - This is a coming-of-age movie starring four preteen girls and a summer they experienced together. They ride bikes through the countryside, tease boys, comfort each other, and solve a town mystery.
