Here’s what I’m currently watching:

• Urusei Yatsura: 26 episodes left
• Ranma 1/2: 1 episode left
• Elfen Lied: finished !
• Paranoia Agent: 11 episodes left
• Clannad 20 episodes left
• The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: 8 episodes left (dropped)

Elfen Lied was… something. Hard to put into words. It’s not exactly a bad anime, but it gives the same feeling as watching Death Note when you’re on the sixth grade. It’s definitely not an enjoyable experience to watch. At many points, it was a real drag, slow-paced and heavy in a way that tires you out more than it immerses you. But the ending… The ending has a certain impact. It reminds me a bit of Angel Beats—that painful journey, a mix of frustration and stagnation, only for the ending to give you something that, in a way, makes the time invested feel worth.

Is it good? Yes.

Would I watch it again? No way.

I also watched all the madoka magica movies and I loved them all. I dropped Haruhi Suzumiya cos I wanna watch into in the chronological way.
