what im up to

ive been keeping myself busy! go figure.. but i thought since maybe since ive been swaying between being active on here id give a little life update lol

also happy valentines guys!! treat yourself today if you care about the holiday lol, im with my boyfriend, hooray!

its official, ive been approved for housing! i need more info on it still, but im on a waitlist supposedly and i am eagerly awaiting information on it!! its crazy to think ill be in a place of my own, buying my own things fully, and gonna be able to have my own space my own way.. thats so awesome!!

ive been on a lot of mental adventures.. ive become a lot more selfaware and have been rethinking my habits and passions. ive been practicing gratuity and embracing positivity, despite everything going on. everything im about to name correlate in so many ways...

largely, ive been recognizing how disconnecting technology has made me and strayed me from some of my core values. i have always been chronically online, but im so very ready to be chronically online hopefully less + in a different way. im realizing that, now more than ever, i need to connect with the world and people around me. 

small steps first, my buddy alex (hi alex) got me some cds!! i am so grateful... ive been burning them every chance i get! i made another buddy a playlist and put it on cd.. its such a beautifully grounding experience.. i also recently found a discman for 5$!!! thats crazy!! needless to say ive been happy

ive found a religious group that aligns with my beliefs almost perfectly! so im very excited to pursue practicing more and setting my own goals for this journey. ive always felt so abstract about what i want to do spiritually, just kind of making things up as i go. finding likeminded people is amazing!

photography is heavy on my mind again, there are wonderful resources and interviews ive been watching that has helped me gain a lot of confidence. in conjunction with trying to downgrade my tech experience, i also plan to be more courageous when i take photos.. im always too scared!! but ill be doing more and posting when i get the confidence :)

i guess all of this ties together on the grounds of, i really do just want to connect with everything again. i cannot continue to resign myself! ive been putting more effort into talking with people, tending to my spiritual needs, and generally just grounding. all of this happening at once has been very eye opening and marks a large positive new chapter in my life.
