i think that the most important thing to keep in mind while studying is that even if u know all the content, it doesn’t rly matter if u don’t know exam technique. For example in history it’s easy enough to remember key dates and stuff but applying that knowledge by doing past papers (and having ur teacher mark them if u have a good teacher) is one of the best ways to get better imo bc ur finding out exactly what the examiner wants so u can apply it to ur actual tests.
For learning the content it depends on what subjects u take, if its smth sciency it’s just abt understanding, especially in math. u should try to understand why smth work and not just that if x does this so does y. For subjects like history geo psycho, just knowing the things are ok, u should understand the causes but u don't have to fully comprehend it like it science, just focus on exam technique and how to answer particular questions.
