school dnd club going absolutely great

so uhmmmm one of my friends is dming a dnd campaign during lunch 2 times a week at school. had our first actual session on wednesday and we're having another today. but. wednesday ended up being really miserable bc a few people joined that aren't taking it seriously at all n i feel like a big loser getting upset abt it but their character concepts are jokes, everything they do is just to be funny (even though its not!!), and they spent the entire session being unnecessarily loud n yelling over the table at each other.

theres also one kid that joined that i just. do not like. but at least hes taking it somewhat seriously.

idk i feel really dramatic bc my character is fully serious and heartfelt and im actually trying to do the campaign n like half the party is just joking around the whole time.

ALSO kinda pissed off bc there was some asshole i dont like just?? watching the whole time?? even though hes not in the club? and next period he was talking to a group of extremely annoying kids n saying they should join it bc theyd really like it. even though our table is already over full and already really loud.

anywayz the dm said they were gonna have to make an announcement at the start of todays session that we need to a) keep it tf down, but also b) actually start being a bit more serious w it. hoping and praying that nobody else joins,,,
