Stop Motion

I love stop motion. It was my main motivation for joining TikTok (I'll get into feelings about the app later). I want to try it. I made my first ever stop motion video in October. It was a bit jerky and rough, as I acknowledged in the caption, but I was proud of it and excited to improve...And then a friend sent me an unsolicited, detailed, review.

        It was really deflating. I almost deleted it. I didn't try it again until recently. I ran into the same problem with the tripod, but I think I have found a workaround. I'm really excited to improve again.

        I was recently inspired by a facebook friend's ball jointed dolls. I think using something like them in stop motion would be really cool, so I went looking for some similarly structured creatures online. I ordered these adorable little guys (links below) to start with. The seller was super nice! They answered my questions about painting them, and said they would love to see the video when it was done. I better practice painting and stop motion again!
