Never would I have taken offense
If you threw a ball and didn't invite me
Never did I take offense
When you shared your joys and sorrows without me
But when when you invited me in once
and forbade me from entering again, it stung
I wondered for so long
"Did I end something when it had just begun?"
And that sting poisoned my blood and tongue
And now the consequences you reap
So don't wonder why I growl and shout
When it was you who made me weep
