I've started to draw, mostly faces, and im wondering what defines if someone is beautiful? Well, that's a dumb question to many but im intrigued and couldn't really find an answer. I've started to mix up some proportions, big lips, wider eyes, longer face, even read some anatomy book (some pages about facial muscles and bones) and really couldn't find a well defined and precise pattern to define beauty. Its true, indeed, that beauty do exist, and we all observe it as different as possible, but i really wanna see and understand what's beauty. Well, if the goal is to find a precise definition we can start with the opposite idea, defining what's ugly. Also not an easy task, it's not possible to see it sepparate, i would say beauty is in harmony, but i don't really know. Im too lazy to express myself more, leave a comment

Woahwoah. Yk, that's a surprisingly difficult question !! Defining beauty is kinda like trying 2 determine the 'meaning of life' in a way

People have been debating and thinking about it 4 thousands of years. Even philosophers and artists still have differing opinions. Yk? (Srry if that doesn't make sense
It mostly comes down 2 opinion or perspective.
What might be seen as beautiful by one person might seem ugly 2 another. So there honestly isn't a single agreed upon definition 4 beauty.
True, beauty, such as any kind of art and expression, is merely subjetive and can't be defined using precise ideas and math
