Clothes and Makeup (LizLisa, LoveShackFancy, "Shoujo" Fashion, etc.) ! ༉‧₊˚.

I've been waiting to buy new clothes and makeup for MONTHS now. I've been looking to buy babydoll tops, skirts, sweaters, dresses, etc. but all the baby doll tops I want I can only find on depop FOR OVER $60 !! I cannot believe how expensive they are ! I mean, today I was looking, and for ONE TANK TOP, ONE TINY BABYDOLL TANK TOP, IT WAS $60 BEFORE SHIPPING ! I have no idea who can afford this ! It's to the point where I'm just debating making the babydoll tops on my own, or spending a LOT of money to buy in bulk like those stores do, so I can get the tops I want, and then like, sell/give the rest to my friends. I have no idea why these lots of babydoll tops are SO EXPENSIVE. Same with makeup ! I've been wanting to get Flower Knows makeup since last year, and why is one palette SO expensive ! Like, I wanted to buy a full collection, AND ITS OVER $700 ! It's crazy to me. Same situation with shoes. Maybe I just have expensive taste, but colored wedge sandal heels should NOT be over $120 ! I mean, to be fair I was looking at LoveShackFancy, but even "cheaper" alternatives are like, $80 ! 

Don't even get me started on swimwear ! I tried to buy one of those cute LizLisa swimsuits last year, and on depop EACH ONE WAS OVER $120 ! Like, that's crazy ! At this point, I'm just debating booking a flight to Japan for a few days while im in Hawai'i (I'm hoping since Japan is closer to Hawaii than it is my state, flights can be a little easier to get), and just hopping over for like 3 days to shop, and get things like clothing and makeup, before going back. I have a relative traveling to Japan this summer, but knowing him, he will wanna do everything BUT pick up some cheap makeup and clothing for me (even though he owes me...smh (haha)). But it's okay ! I just need to find a way to get the things I want for cheap. 

Anyways, something I'm really looking forward to wearing this spring is dresses !! I haven't really worn dresses in YEARS ! I found a few cute ones online that would be SO CUTE to wear to a picnic ! It's a super cute floral dress, and ahh ! I have a few more things I'm looking at, like strapless dress tops, and bags, and cute press on nails, and I can't wait ! I think this spring, I really wanna focus on MAKING some of my own clothes ! My mom got a new sewing machine, and said I could borrow it, and I bought a vouge dress pattern recently....I think it could be so cute (if I learn how to properly sew)! But, other than that, I know I want to try making my own swimsuit this year, with a basic base, since I wouldn't trust myself to make the tops and bottoms right, BUT IM GONNA DECORATE IT AND ADD A SKIRT AND STUFF, and I also wanna make babydoll tops ! Luckily, the materials I need for the babydoll tops are SUPER easy to get, so later this month or next month, I'm gonna buy a bunch so I can just grind and get a new wardrobe. 

That reminds me ! A few months ago, I wanted to try to design shoes I could sell ! I would start with a plain basic heel, and get paint and decorate them, and whatnot, AND I NEVER ACTUALLY GOT TO IT ! I drafted all these plans, and started to gather materials, but then the date to sign up for the winter market (which is what I wanted to do it for) closed. I might start making them soon, so that I can sell them at a farmers market (which sells like, everything honestly, I swear I won't be the weird odd one out selling shoes next to a bunch of farmers...). THEN if I do that maybe I can actually, you know, afford all the things I was ranting about above lol. 

I need to get some more jewelry too---I've been wearing the same jewelry for months. Most of my earrings are lost, and I don't have too many necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. I know that I definitely wanna save up to get more Vivienne Westwood accessories ! I have Vivienne Westwood earrings and necklaces (though they are fake...), and just LOVE the look of them ! I wanna get some cute summer jewelry , like beaded things, or like, you know, kinda center pieces I guess, in a fashion kinda way. I wanna get silver jewelry specifically, because gold does NOT look good on me. 

HAIR ACCESSORIES ! That's another thing I need. I recently started doing different hair styles (after literal months doing that clawclip ponytail hack...), and I'm loving actually changing things up. I found different hair styles to do, but now I just need clips and other things. Once my hair is dyed, I guess that can kinda be the accessory haha, but in the meantime, I need to find some more hair clips, and cute ones ! I found these cute Miffy hairclips, but I feel like they are more for like, wearing at home (for me personally), but I'm still gonna try to get them. I want some like, cute, extravagant hair clips, but I'm not sure where to buy them ! Any recommendations? 

This was a LOOONG post, and for that, I apologize. There's a LOT more to be said on the topic of fashion and makeup, but for now, I'll hold off---I have to study right now anyways...🥲
