im bibi and i listen to whatever im not a baby bat and im not goth but i occasionally usually? idk like to listen to goth music and im doing research about it too its a bit embarrassing dont know much for now i only know type o negative pretenders and strawberry switchblade.. oof 
i dont mind if theyre kind of mainstream and if you could teach me about the history of goth i'd appreciate it a lot

Hi, tbh its easy to look up goth bands to listen to! But I'll give a list anyways :)
The top goth bands, trad and non-trad: Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Joy Division, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Sisters of Mercy, London After Midnight, Twin Tribes, She Wants Revenge, Molchat Doma, Horror Vacui.
Middle Area: Clan of Xymox, Corpus Delicti, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, She Past Away, The Chameleons, Harsh Symmetry.
Random Post-Punk bands: The Birthday Party, Christ v Warhol, Pink Turns Blue, The Damned, The Danse Society, Echo and the Bunnymen, Killing Joke.
