Scrapped story

This was a scrapped story for a podcast, hope someone can get inspired by it or something idk, just tell me if you are using it for inspo because I wanna read it. x3

||It was December, I’m not disclosing the exact date nor the location because I don’t want someone to go looking around for what I saw.  I was inside sipping some peppermint hot chocolate, and it was a particularly snowy day, which means I really shouldn’t have gone to the supermarket that day, but I really needed to get some more butter since I used my last bit of butter to fry an egg that morning.

When I had gotten my winter coat on my coat zipper wouldn’t zip all the way, it had gotten stuck, that’s when I should have taken the hint and stayed inside but no I had so foolishly decided to go outside, I really wish I hadn’t because maybe I’d be normal if I hadn’t.

I firmly put my hand on the doorknob, opened the door, walked through the knee-deep snow, I could barely see because there was so much snow, I had to walk to the grocery store.

That was the second mistake, not taking my car.

As I was walking, I felt something off, I felt like I was being watched, but there was no one there, I felt like I was being followed.

I brushed it off as just my anxiety.

The snow seemed to get thicker the more I kept walking, I eventually got to the grocery store.

I picked up a pack of butter hastily and went to check out and as quickly as possible before the storm could thicken any more, I made the walk home.

All the sudden I could have sworn I saw something, I saw it, I was terrified, the next look I took it was gone, it was an average woman’s height, looked as if it was just a cloud ash and darkness, I could have sworn it had eyes, eerily human-like eyes, blue eyes, god I hated blue eyes they scared me on a human, but on that thing it was horrific.||

To be completely honest I was more writing this story for myself, less for the podcast I was going to submit to, my writing style has improved since this I feel.
