Hey there! Here are some things you might want to consider before you friend me.

I most probably won't IM you

Unless strictly necessary or if we're close, I won't IM you first. Partly because I know most people here don't like one-on-one conversations, and partly because messaging on this site can be kind of clunky.

I will, however, answer your texts if you decide to message me, and will interact with you through blogs or bulletins as much as I can.

I don't like NSFW jokes

This is pretty self-explanatory; I'm aroace and heavily repulsed towards topics of a sexual nature—jokes included. This obviously doesn't mean you can't make posts with this type of humour if you friend me, but I wish for you to abstain from using it under my posts or when talking directly to me (especially if you're a minor).

I'm not good at comforting people

If I don't offer you the opportunity to vent or talk about a sensitive topic with me, please do not take the initiative yourself. I understand you might need to get things off your chest but I'm sure I am much less qualified for handling this kind of thing than most of your other friends.

I dislike pet names

I'm okay with whatever nickname you give me, but please do not use affectionate terms with me (e.g., dear, honey, darling, etc.) unless we're close friends, or unless they lean towards a more friendly context.

On the topic of names, some of my friends will call me by my real name—please do not use it unless I give you permission to.

I will talk too much about deer

Deer are a special interest of mine, probably the biggest one. I will most probably not shut up if you bring them up, so if you don't want me to waste your time for an entire day, do not ask me to tell you about them. I'll obviously try to keep it at bay but, you know, autism.

I have Narcissistic Personality Disorder

This is stated in my "about me" section, but I think it's worth mentioning twice.

Although I'm undergoing treatment, sometimes my condition is much more evident than other days, and it's not like it will be cured either; if you don't want to deal with it, no one's forcing you to—just don't give me a lecture on morality when it happens because I won't take it well, even if your intentions are good.
