Language Learning ! ༉‧₊˚.

So, I've grown up in a house where everyone is learning their own language, and my parents really pushed me and my sisters to learn new languages. When I was very young, my mom taught me basic French (I forgot a lot of it until I did a French course for 2 years), and then I learned Mandarin at my school for about 4 years, since it was required. Currently, I'm passively working on learning six languages. I speak English, русский, 日本語, français, 한국어,  Deutsch, 普通话/中文, on very basic/intermediate levels ! I mostly speak English, русский, and 日本語, since those are what have taken my interest. I am looking, however, to learn a few more languages ! I'm interested in italiano, ไทย, polski, íslenska and čeština, do any of you know any good programs that could help with this? For my other languages, I have used college sites, and other programs to learn, but I cannot find things similar for these languages (to be fair, I also havent looked that much yet...). Anyways, I just want to learn as many languages as I can ! Languages don't come to me the fastest, in comparison to my sisters, at least (who can each speak about 3 languages fluently, and are learning like, I think 4 on the side they are intermediate on), and same with my parents. I used to hate learning languages, but now as I've gotten older, and want to travel more, I want to learn as many languages as I can so I can communicate decently in the countries I visit !

I think I can retain information for languages pretty well---like I can memorize sentence structures, and the alphabets, and other important rules, but the issue is speaking ! I can write, and listen and understand well, but I cannot speak well ! At least in some of the languages. I think I can speak Japanese and Mandarin pretty decently, and same with Russian---Russian is what I can do the easiest, but when it comes to other Romantic and Germanic languages, I suck ! In other languages, I have a French accent, that I cannot seem to lose ! And if it's not a French accent, its a Russian accent ! Does anyone have any tips for this?? Like its confusing me in all my language studies ! I have a German oral exam tomorrow, and I swear, every time I speak, I sound French ! I don't get it!

Anyways, that's all for now ! Let me know if you have any suggestions for language learning !!

This blog was made a while ago so I don't know if you're still having this issue, but I know a good way to work on speaking is to just speak! (and also writing)
It can help to strengthen your ability to form your own sentences in the language, and eventually it'll get easier!
I also know another good method if you want to focus on perfecting an accent is to mimic native speakers of your target languages. You listen to an audio clip of a native speaker, record yourself copying what they said, and then listen back to your recording and see where you need improving.
