In this video, I take you on a tour around my small world in Minecraft Indev. Minecraft Indev is an old version of Minecraft from late 2009/early 2010. It was created after Minecraft Classic to focus on fleshing out the basics of survival mode, before Notch moved on to working on infinite terrain for Java Edition. Indev has a very limited block palette, but the blocks just seem to work with each other. Even with its simplicity, it is still great fun. I thank Omniarchive and Betacraft for making these otherwise lost, historical versions playable.

Nice video! definitely had me feeling nostalgic for when I was in elementary school lol. And yeah I feel you when it comes to the simplicity, sometimes I feel like a lot of modern minecraft just has too many things going on and it isn't really for me. The older versions are more sandboxey yet limited so there's a certain level of relaxing to it that I don't have in newer minecraft
