I wanna post my ocs but I’m lowk scared also hi POOKIES

I am lowkey, TERRIFIED. To post my art and ocs, and Ik i already have an editing acc and followers and editing and posting edits is fun and I shouldn’t rlly worry I have loads of mutuals but gangalang…. The art community scare the hell outta me. I’ve been drawing for years since I was teeny tiny so ik ig idk a lot? A little? Abt drawing? It’s not that I’m afraid they’ll shit on my drawings or oc lore or wtv tf nonononono. Not that it’s more or so the idk “rules?” Like apparently you will get hated on for making a discord server for your art and ocs with friends and that there’s like, “history” behind that- I’ve like I’ve seen comments say, “history repeats itself, always a bad sign” “I hate when we praise young artists” “when they draw their art persona (wait..say that again? DISTURBING THE PEACEEEEE 🗣️🗣️🗣️) not remotely even close to themselves in real life” LIKE WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? I just started drawing digitally idk if that’s part of it but girl I love under a rock. It’s like ur forbidden from doing some things and ppl r mean asl, now if some bitch said “yo dri ur art is so boo boo” id probably say “you right twin” bc ngl it is kinda shit, I write more than I draw even if I’ve been drawing for years I still have a lot to learn, feel like that’s normal right? So like, idc if they think it’s ass cuz ik my art kinda wonky here and there but at the end of the day im at least proud i created something, some people don’t create shit and lose their creativity as they age. But that’s not my MAIN point, my MAIN point is how do I make an art acc and stuff and a uh idk fandom? Idk how to start and ion wanna “break the rules” or do things past complicated artist have done. Oh boy ion wanna get canceled either so ima spill the beans here and now, IM BLACK. AFRICAN AMERICAN.
