Today's messy drum practice

Our college is going to celebrate the annual sports day soon, unfortunately I was chosen to play the big drum for the band(even though I didn't sign up for it).

Now,since they do trust me,i decided to practice with them consistently.Imagine my surprise when I go today only to see someone else in my spot.I thought they were just using her as my substitute at first...then they spent 1 hour rehearsing with her without explaining it to me....

Turns out,one of the seniors mixed things up and thought I was playing the small drum and the other girl the big drum.She only realized it when I told her to cut my name if they had already found someone else for my position (I was kind of pissed since my finals are close and here I'm putting in time and effort,so I guess I may have accidentally come off as passive-aggresive.).

She did say sorry though...but I missed out on a lot of practice...the event is in 4-5 days...TT
