Your Oceans

Sickeningly charismatic

A facade so thick

That you just want to drown in it

Fingers flush with one another

Caged into what you've made

My mouth is filled with cotton

The same fiber of you

Numbing the buds

How intoxicating

For, even when the gaze is never on me

Forever never on me

The mere breadth of your being

Enough to flood my senses

With every calculated move and leak

I'll stare from whatever angle given

Waiting for a the rain water to chance upon my bowl

For a glimpse of shining white

and deep blues

Forever ever washed behind shores

Bubbling over from me but never from you

Stormy hues melting over the clouds

Sapphires carved with tenured hands

A color enrapturing, nigh

An emotion finding hold

Declaring it's place in every bone

Muscle, vein, nerve

You are suffocating

And I am merely drowning from the foam

I have no fins, gills, or tail for these waters

Yet I'd wade further without a second thought

Unlike a moth to a flame

The moth never left it's cocoon

Side Note: Old one I wrote, thought I'd share it here <3
