my art

i just wanted to share some of my art here. hopefully it can also act as a sort of motivation for me, since i'll be spending a lot of time home alone the next month or so.

one of the first still life paintings i did with oil paint

a sculpture i did with paper mache, cardboard, acrylic paint + some gems

i actually ended up making a giant version of this one that was more of a 3-dimensional sculpture for a final project. i did paintings of each of the portions with the snail + beetle on separate canvases and used tiny mirrors instead of glitter nail polish!

some collages, mixed media (construction paper, magazine clippings, old postcards, rose petals, thread, ribbon, acrylic paint, + glitter nail polish.

i have sooooo many more materials/ideas for collages i want to do, so maybe i'll start there.
