Today I wanted to share a simple, earl grey sweet milk tea.
Use a nice quality loose leaf earl grey, the water in your kettle shouldn't quite be boiling, but should be close, with rising bubbles about the size of beads. Transfer this to your teapot, steep for about 3-5 minutes, dip your infuser in your tea a few times before setting to the side. Put a small amount of honey in your cup, then your tea, stir, then a splash of cream.
This is not the most refined way to drink a tea, but it's simple to make, approachable for those who have a hard time with stronger black teas, and goes well with cookies, I tend to drink this when I'm low energy and craving something sweet! My favorite snack to go with it are biscuits, generally ones with dark chocolate.
