Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than a master of one

What are your favorite hobbies? Something I had to think about for a speech coming up in my class.

Art. Lots of it. Drawing, coloring, sewing, modeling, painting, jewelry making, writing, scrapbooking, collaging, and much more. I enjoy listening to music and watching cartoons, good and bad. I like to watch bad movies and chick flicks often, rewatching ones I quite enjoy. 

Most of my time right now is spent with my friends in college. And if not it is catching up on sleep or homework. But I enjoy my major. 

I do spend a lot of time on my phone, but I don't consider it healthy - which is why I been trying to get back into my creative hobbies. I enjoy a lot of what I do, whether its bad or not. 

I just enjoy making. I can't say I am perfect at everything I do, you know like how everyone usually has that one thing their good at. I am usually second place in a lot of things I do, known for being good at something but there is usually someone always being better than me. Not that I mind, but I know. 

So when my professor said our first speech would be about our pastimes, I did not know what to say. Yes it was art, but what could I say? I am not perfect in any of them, I just do them. And maybe it would not matter if most of my classmates did not having something their perfect at. I never mind being a jack of all trades, good enough to have a taste of everything, but what were my pastimes exactly. Just art? I had hobbies, but a pastime - meaning something you do regularly. 

I do do art regularly for my major, but because I have to. But I can't just say that is my pastime - model making and orthographic drawings. So, for the time being, I don't know what to write about. But that doesn't mean it bothers me as much as I let it. It will come to me and if art is the answer, it'll be.
