It's 4 weeks into the semester and I'm still working on first projects on each class. I'm not used to this slow pace. Last semester my typo I professor, Lucas, had new projects every week and one would think that would be too fast for one project, but it was all so structured and straightforward. As of now, spending 4 weeks on one project feels like a drag and I'm itching to work on the next thing. Good news, I am done with my Image Design project with the magazine cover I did for Joji. I'm about to send it to my friend who is also obsessed with Joji. Currently writing down notes for tomorrow's critiques when I have to present this piece to the class.

Not-so-good-news, I'm still slugging along in my Graphic Design Method class with this collage piece. To be fair, it's a two-part project because as of now, we're making entirely new logos on adobe illustrator INSPIRED by the collages we crafted the week before. I'm not as inspired, but my logo ideas so far get the job done. The phrases I chose to illustrate are "Floral Fuji" and "Ruby Core" based off of the collage I did with the flower and apple image, both of which were red. So far, Floral Fuji is the strongest contender. None of these designs are final yet.

Bad news, I'm definitely not done with any of my pieces in my Typo II class. It's definitely down to the wire with this, because we were supposed to hold critique LAST WEEK and my professor is still considering postponing critique even now. He's the most supportive and down-to-earth mentor I have right now, but he really needs to snap his fingers so we can all get a move on with this project. I don't even want to post the pics here, not much has changed. I spent 30 minutes making a snowman surfing only for him to go "less is more".
