2/8/25 ~ Noelle's Tea Diary ~ Lapsang Suchong

Today I went to a local shop and had a lovely loose leaf lapsang suchong from In Pursuit of Tea. 

The smell was very smoky, it was a tiny bit on the astringent side and was a nice savory tea. I believe it would pair well with some miso-flavored biscuits or a ham and gruyere croissant. 

If you enjoy teas that pair well with hams, this is definitely one for you! The flavor will last in your mouth for a long while afterwards, and will leave you with a craving for some plain cookies or something savory. Overall a delightful tea that I hugely recommend for those who enjoy smokier, savory teas!
