My fandom journey

Hi! Today i would like to talk about my journey through fandoms and different media i enjoyed over the years. I hope you enjoy!

The first fandom i joined was in about 2019, and it was the MLP fandom. I was a hudge fan of the show for practically my whole childhood and it just so happened that i started seeing some fan content on Youtube. I mostly consumed media from this fandom rather than creating it, but i can remember drawing a few fanarts in my sketchbook XD. Later, in about 2021, i created a ponytown account on which I'm still active from time to time.

The next fandom on my list was probably The Rangers Apprentice. The first book i've read of this series was probably in 2020, and I stayed in the fandom until i think 2022. I remember reading A LOT of fanfiction on wattpad, as well as drawing tons of fanart.

Then, there was Undertale. I joined the fandom also in about 2020, and i mostly remember watching animations on Youtube, I dont think I've read any fanfiction from this one. At first, I didn't even play the game, and all my knowledge was based on fan content and a few gameplays. Regardless, I drew quite a bit of fanart and of course watched animations.

Later, in 2021, i started watching Empires SMP. I mostly watched Geminitay and LDShadowLady, but i have also seen a few episodes from fWhip and TheMithycalSausage. It was another fandom where I didn't really create conent but rather just enjoyed what other fandom members have made. With Empires, i also watched Hermitcraft and New Life. As you can see, i really enjoyed watching Minecraft youtubers, as i still do tbh >-<

Then, in late 2021/2022 i started to like anime. The first one i watched, which similarly means the first anime fandom i joined was The Promised Neverland. Then i started to get into TBHK, and after that comes my deeply loved reawtched at least 5 times Wonder Egg Priority.

In 2023, i started playing Genshin Impact. And when I say this game fascinated me, I really mean it. I still know a HUDGE amount of lore, especially regarding Sumeru, but especially Collei. She was (and still is) my absolute favorite character, To the point where i even got my hair cut just like hers.

While we talk about Genshin Characters, i also have to mention my favorite boy Scaramouche (i'm still not sure how to spell his name...). It breaks my heart that i was indeed a part of the cursed Scaranation.. If you don't know anything about it then i hope you have a good night's sleep because it geniuently KEEPS ME UP AT NIGHT. Also, the amount of kazuscara fics i've read is UNGODLY. 

Other genshin ships i really like, and still read fanfiction of are beiguang (my comfort ship, i love these stupid lesbians), arlebina and chiscara.

Then of course, there's also musicals. I love Heathers, Ride the Cyclone and I've recently started getting into Epic the musical. Also, no matter how much I've tried I geniuently can't enjoy Hamilton T_T

Very recently, that is in the end od 2024, i started interacting with the Arcane fandom. And let me tell you, the polish Arcane fandom is PURE GOLD. Geniuently the funniest people ever. Also, i have to say that this fandom is a prison. My favorite ship from the fandom is probably Caitvi, as you can tell i love lesbians. 

My unpopular opinion about ships in this fandom is that i ship both Mel and Jayce and Viktor and Jayce. I geniuently thing both of these are good pairings and also i can't decide which i like better. 

My favorite Arcane fanfic is probably Cerulean eyes for the damaged soul by loveshazel. If you like historical au definitley check it out, tho i have to say prepare for heartbreak, i am still healing from this fic, even tho i finished it around Christmas.
