I NEED STUDY METHODS

It's my last year of high school and I am NOT settling for near failing like I have before. I really want universities to look at my last year of high school and go "she really tried her last year", yk?? The best I've done for my education is move schools, which I did last year, but I still want to improve my grades. The best I have is flash cards and constantly retaking notes but it always makes me wanna fall asleep. Anyway if anyone has any effective or fun ways to study PLEASE help a girl out !!
