kyoya ootori & the ohshc fandom ...

haii. it's my first blog on here so I apologize if it sucks. ANYWAAYYS. I wanted to yap abt kyoya ootori from ohshc because he's SOOO mischaracterized and ruthlessly hated on in the ohshc fandom. 

in the beach episode (episode 8), we see that after the event with tamaki getting angry abt haruhi not caring about her gender (causing her to make reckless decisions around men who see her as weak, because they didn't see her as a man and seen her as a WOMAN, meaning that at any given time those two men in that episode could've preyed on her) haruhi happens to be in the same room as kyoya, where he then pushes her down onto the bed and says he could do anything to her. notice how EVEN HARUHI!!! knows he's bluffing because she literally has that ability to see through people well. He was doing it to make a point to haruhi that even if she IS careless abt her gender, some people still value gender as a hierarchy in which they can prey on women, the "weaker" gender. After this, kyoya does NOTHING like that again, and we see in later eps that he even grows a bond with haruhi. 

We even see more character development and backstory TO KYOYA!! his whole point wasn't to be some evil SA'er, (which mind you, he didn't even SA her!!!!!), he was meant to be a complex character with a personality driven by the need to supposedly "feed" off of others to "get his own way", (due to his father and being the third born son) although we learn that's not actually what kyoya is all about (as in the episode where he stopped a scam + when we learn abt him and tamaki ♡♡ but I'll leave ships out of this SORRY LOL). 

Long story short, kyoya isn't some evil guy. He's just as flawed as all the rest of the homosexual supporting cast (the host club) members. I'm not saying you can't dislike him, just dislike him with a real reason and not what a ton of mischaracterizers say. Thank you for reading my yap session abt kyoya cause I LOVE KYOYA OOTORI!!!!!!
