Emotional widsom is important.

Which one is better? A drug addict who killed a man because of a rage filled withdrawal who eventually got their life together and started a healthy family or a drug addict who never got into therapy, destroyed all of theirs family connections, sold drugs to minors and eventually destroyed themselves in the end? 

Can you say that a kid with mental problems who uses, starts fights, and makes everyone around them miserable is equal to a kid with the same problems who's successful, has real friends, a loving family and a healthy hobby? Turns out that in this story they both commit suicide before they turn 18. 

People tend not to care about those things, the world isn't black and white.
