I met someone new

So a few weeks ago I was on Snapchat and noticed that I had friend request,so i decided to accept the friend request. we started talking and getting to know each other and it’s going really good. We have made it known that we are very interested in seeing where this might go. He’s really sweet, he asks me if I’ve eaten today, he tells me I’m beautiful,he calls me every morning before he goes to work. But both of us have been hurt before and i don’t want to rush into a relationship with anyone. I just want to start out as friends and let the relationship grow into something serious. because the best relationships start out as friends.
