How to Make Friends on here?

So Im just curious how do people make friends on here? BTW im 23, US, He/They. I Just dont really know how to make friends on here, I feel like its wrong for me to just click random peoples profiles ya know? IDK MAN IM NOT USED TO THIS. RAHHHHHHHHHHH (Feel free to request me tho)
