You Hurt Me

You hurt me, its true and I wanted you to know. You cut me deep and the pain continues to grow.

I hurt in ways that are hard to explain. I dream of days where I didn’t want to complain.

I hate the life that I am living now. I wish it was a stage and I could just take my bow.

Leave the stage and find another venue. Something with some eternal revenue.

I want to go where things are kind. Somewhere where everything is left behind.

But that is not the case and life still sucks. I wish you would love me even though I don’t make the big bucks.
