First entry ever on my blog!

(Before you read this i have to tell that english isn´t my first language so i might make some mistakes, thx for your attention)
Well, for this first entry on my blog i wanted to talk about a certain band to which i have a really deep connection with, and that band would be, Crystal Castles.
I first listened to their music when i was like 5 or 4 years old when my dad used to take me to kindergartden and would play crystal castles´ music on the car with his usb and also he also put on cc at home.
Listening to CC always feels like a trip down memory lane, remembering my old house, the park i used to go,etc, always feeling this huge sense of Melancholy and a bit of comfort of some sort.

Crystal Castles is a band that has made me company in almost every moment of my life, since kindergarten and i love re-listening them and finding out stuff that i didn´t notice on the songs or reevaluating a song that i would skip all the time.

And currently i´m really fascinated with the more noise/digital hardcore side of crystal castles which doesn´t get really much attention. I love how alice´s voice can go through, calming and kinda of relaxing (Example songs: Good times,Celestica,Suffocation) to yelling her lungs out (Example songs: Doe deer, Insectica,Mother knows best, Love and caring)

And to singing really danceable stuff (idk how to catalogue these ones so i chose ¨really danceable¨) (Example songs: Through The Hosiery, Birds, Pap smear)

i think i´m gonna finish this here, Gathering everyhing, thanks crystal castles for existing (fuck you, ethan kath, you fucked it all up) and thank you for reading!! bye

metamfetaket	1741064945 i absolutely love CC and basically every song they have i associate so many memories with it. now alice glass is solo and ive never really gave her music a proper try. i listened to some songs and i didnt particularly like. im happy crystal castles is a finished unfinished project and that they wont realease anything anymore (at least featuring alice) and honestly i am so satisfied with all their sounds. i think they made exactly the right amount of music without betraying their signature style. im curious what is your first language?
