Bumper Stickers on Myspace

Bumper Stickers was an app for Myspace Apps created by the social network game developers Playdom who also created games for both Myspace and Facebook with titles like Mobsters, Sorority Life, Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Wild Ones to name a few.

Released in the late 2000's, Bumper Stickers allowed you to embed a bulletin board onto your Myspace profile where you can display your stickers to compliment your profile. To apply the stickers onto your board, you either had to click on the board to launch Bumper Stickers or by launching it through the apps button located at the top of your Myspace homepage. From there, you get to browse around the app and look for any stickers you would like to add onto your board or save for later. These stickers came in GIFs, videos, still images, blingee GIFs, etc etc. When you saw a sticker you liked, you would click "add to bulletin board, and from there your sticker was added onto your board so visitors can come and see them on your profile when they stop by.

As Myspace entered the 2010's, The decline of Playdom was getting pretty drastic due to it's acquisition by Disney, mass layoffs and poor management causing Playdom to close its most popular games one by one and ultimately shutting down in 2016, taking Bumper Stickers with them to the grave.

Do you guys remember Bumper Stickers? If so, what did you post on your bulletin board? I would post a lot of characters from the N64, dancing bananas, cheezburger cat memes and YouTube Poop clips lol!
