Dni lists are kinda stupid?

First blog post here, and i wanted to ask

What is the point in a dni list? Like, i understand the whole "i don't wanna interact with these types of people" but listing out all those types of people would just bring them to you way quicker than if you had just said nothing. The world doesn't need to know you're a regular person that doesn't want the diddys and shane Dawsons of the world on your page, relax

Plus the whole thing of "if you're a fan of this media, dni 3:<" and its something like a roblox game or a Minecraft roleplay- theres absolutely no way you can sense when a fan of something looks at your page. Literally nothing will happen, whats the point?- some fans are just really chill ppl, not everyone is good to turn into Arson/quirky/faking 73 disorders/cute/(insert list of 101 triggers here) cause they are a fan of a media. Why bother yourself pretending 

Dudes, if someone is bothering you, block them, its that simple. Nobody is forcing you to allow them to interact on YOUR personal device.
