I've been in the works on writing a very detailed fantasy story named Majesty: Royal Vying. I've been writing and planning for over three years now and I've decided on trying to make it into a webtoon as well as a book. The webtoon will obviously come first. I'm hoping that it will help me write out the full story and will also help the story gain a following before I have it published.
In a short summary, it's about a boy named Leouch (Lee ow) who is in a competition with his many half siblings for the throne of the Empire. A competition that happens every twenty years between the Queen or King Crown's very own children.
Not only are these children royalty, but they all have variations of purple eyes caused by a magical pact with a demon fae when the first Queen Crown created the Empire. This gives random children magical gifts and abilities but they've gotten weaker over time as the fae blood has been diluted through the generations.
Leouch is in the top position and after the last grading period is most likely to get the throne but everything gets swept up in a murder mystery when a Child of the Crown is thrown off a balcony and killed in the middle of a ball. The children all blame Leouch as an attempt to overthrow his high rating, so he goes on a journey into the world of the fae to find the truth.
I do have this story slightly published online with a copy right on it incase someone thinks this is a idea banquet.
When I get my Ipad and begin the process of drawing everything out and finally post it on Webtoon I'll be sure to post it here with a link so you can read it if you're interested!
