story from work!

so i work in a school library, (actually the library at the school i graduated at about 4 months ago LOL) and obviously that means i deal with kids, and today i had an 8 year old girl come up to me, we'll call her isabella, and i used to be on the same bus as her so she knows me. she comes up to me during her library lesson to loan out her books and goes "esther guess what, im getting a chewing necklace!!!" (keep in mind she's very hyper so imagine her saying this with a REALLY excited tone of voice while also jumping around) and i asked "oh, why's that isabella?" and she said "uhh well do you ever get that feeling when you're so excited and stuff that you wanna chew people??!!" and i sat there completely flabbergasted (in my head. i was smiling politely externally) and i go "..oh, um, no?" and she said "well i do and im getting a necklace because i accidentally keep chewing people when i get reeeaaallyyy excited!!!!" and i was like "wow, that's great isabella! im sure that necklace will help!" 

my coworker heard this and she asked me after "did she say she accidentally chews people??" and i said "yup." and she said "right... cuz that's what you do i guess..." LOLOL
