It gets really cold here in Michigan and the winters are very long, had a friend say he didn't see the sun for like 3 months cause it was so cloudy all the damn time. o(╥﹏╥)o
I mean me personally I think I just have depression in my brainspace but I do get happier whenever I see the sun. o(≧∇≦o)
I guess the gloomy-ness just saddens me
okay byeeeee (๑>ᴗ<๑)/

Definitely. It gets me sometimes. I hate all the darkness and cold, and then the first warm day of the year I'm all geared up and ready to go .

Seasonal depression is a real phenomenon backed by science !! The lack of vitamin D, which we get mainly from the sun, during the winter months causes sadness/depression. Some people may have medical predispositions that make them either more sensitive or less to the lack of vitamin D though! To combat seasonal depression many will take vitamin D supplements in the form of pills or "happy lights", but we can also get vitamin D through food as well! Our bodies are fascinating !!
This is very interesting!
