For a long time I wish I could actually sing. Problem is I'm a minor with no money for a coach & learning online is really really hard.
My dream is to be a writer and in writing club today, I suggested we each write a song for next month. I had so much fun writing it. And it kinda made me wanna start a band a bit but I know nobody who/or would be interested.
Now I really don't know what to do for my future...I guess for now I'll just write songs & put them in a book & publish them on my wattpad and maybe when I turn 18 I could start this idea :/

Writing and music are two things that are so universal to people and easily accessible, the bar to entry is basically zero. Keep writing, singing, and practicing! If you keep up and even teach yourself fundamentals and start the skills now, when you finally have the chance to get coached it'll make things easier for you!

i have friends who have had or are in bands! its all about putting yourself out there and really finding the people you feel like fit the best. as for music, being authentic and doing what makes you proud or happy with your music is best, but id be a liar if i said promotion wasnt important. good luck and i hope you acomplish ur dreams op!!!

Don't give up! As long as you are being your authentic self you will find like minded people who share your dream. As for your dilemma with singing I get reminded of this quote, “if a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly,” meaning that even if you can't do something perfectly, it's still worthwhile to try and do it, as the act of attempting something is valuable in itself !! Keep singing, keep writing songs and enjoy your interests and the journey that comes with following your dreams.
