blog 2/6/2025 || prj. 2025 and book bans

ermm this is a semi vent post N i dont mean to put stuff like this here or anything, if i dont like this then ill just delete it but anywayyyy

now that a certain guy is president of the usa, im very scared N anxious. we're already losing so much. my english teacher was talking about how he needed to take stock of all the books he has in his classroom bc of the book ban that's happening. this is genuinely terrifying to me. if they can ban books, then what's next? and these arent even political books either. this is talking about Fahrenheit 451, The Hunger Games, Holes, The House on Mango Street, etc. like, why can we do this? even if it was political, it's still censorship either way

soz for the rant, but im just genuinely pissed
