Haven't been very active on this social media platform. Mostly because Monday of last week my father was diagnosed with Covid 19 and two days after that my Mom tested positve. I've also not been feeling good, even though I tested negative the first time I tested. Tested again Sunday and tested positive.
We ended up having to send my father to the hospital. Luckily, they was able to help him out and get him on some good medication. The diagnoses was a lung infection and he was highly dehydrated. This virus really kicked his ass, due to him being a cancer survivor. Luckily, the worse is behind us now. We are all on our road to recovery. I'm due back to work on the 1st of December. I'm still dealing with lingering symptoms. But, here's to better days.
It's Thanksgiving and even though I didn't get to spend it around much of my family due to being quaratined with Mom and Dad, I still have a lot to be thankful for. I'm thankful to our medical field for taking care of my father. I'm thankful to still be alive and that my family was able to kick Covid's ass. Not going to lie, the journey has been extremely scary. Thankful to have a roof over my head and a job I can go back to. Hopefully everyone else had a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving. Love you all. And as always, live long rock hard.
