Sitting inside of the top of a playground tower, smoking and drinking coffee. I look outside and see little kids running with their big backpacks, cheering and arguing about new tik tok trends. I take a snap of myself with my childhood best friend. I look dead, she looks tired. We both want to take those kids place. Especially knowing they wish to be us. Don't. Enjoy your bittersweet childhood, even if your parents don't let you go out at night, scold you for bad grades, control your screen time, make you eat soup. I would've given up everything just to make school grades my only worry.
Your backpacks filled with books and empty lunch boxes. Mine has cigarettes and pills. Your notebooks filled with calculations. Mine with grief.

thank you for this reminder.
I don't look forward to growing up.
grown-ups seem sad and exhausted. but I'm sure that, in their lives, there are little moments of joy, glimmers of light.
you seem so tired. I hope you can turn the page of your notebook and write gentle stories
Thank you, I hope our generation will change the concept of adulthood. We must make ourselves happy, so that "best times of our life" will be always, every year and everyday
